Requirements
Web Design and Development
- Plan and produce web sites for clients which are user orientated, accessible and search engine
friendly
- Update web sites on a regular basis
- Provide maintenance and technical support
- Hosting and Domain Name administration
Establish good working relationships with other departments within the Agency and an
understanding of their offerings and how they dovetail with Interactive
Working with Clients
- Work with clients at all stages from initial conception to project delivery
- Be flexible in the approach and be able to adapt to changes at short notice
- Find innovative answers to client’s needs – thinking, challenging and refining rather that just
executing
- Have a creative flair for design work
- Have the ability to provide ideas for promotional material and web sites
Personal Profile
Self-driven with a positive outlook, a clear focus on balancing quality client service with
department profit. Reliable, tolerant and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things
from the other person’s point of view. Well presented and business like. Sufficiently mobile and
flexible enough to travel to visit clients as required (within the UK). Keen for new experience,
responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team player.
Proficiency in the following
- Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and FTP
- An understanding of Flash, CSS, JavaScript and (X)HTML would be beneficial
- Accessibility, web standards and Usability
