This month, Artlink launched a fresh, engaging and fully-accessible website. The new website
comes out of a larger capital project that has enabled Artlink to move into a new, expanded Centre
for Community Arts on Princes Avenue and to upgrade its organisational identity as Hull’s arts
access agency in 2007.
Designer Chris Cannon has developed a new brand for Artlink, which has been integrated into
the Annual Report, stationery and website. Chris took as inspiration a solid understanding of
Artlink’s mission and artwork produced in past community projects to develop a visually pleasing,
professional and creative graphic look that runs through the organisation’s business tools.
The new website has been designed to be fully-accessible so that people of all abilities can
enjoy the site and find about Artlink and its activities. The site includes [enter text from Chris

Established in 1982, Artlink is a registered charity that was originally part of the national
disability arts network, Shape. Since 1992, the organisation has broadened its mission and aims to
create greater access to the arts for all in traditionally, excluded groups within society. A
unique organisation, Artlink has four areas of provision – outreach projects, artist and community
exhibitions, training opportunities and an information service – for people in Hull and the Humber
region. The new website gives visitors an informative introduction to each of these areas of
service.
