DEP was established in 2006 by David Edmunds to provide management, tour booking, tour management and consultancy services to arts organisations, companies, artists, local authorities and support organisations. DEP supports artists and companies in the UK and internationally, providing appropriate solutions to help them to realise their artistic vision at all stages of their development.
As a creative producer, DEP is committed to supporting work, which is experimental, provocative, edgy, thought provoking, original, physical, beautiful, dark and engaging.
We work with artists and companies from a range of art forms to create interesting projects / shows which inspire, intrigue and excite.
DEP also work with a number of partner's from Fundraisers and Marketing specialists to Technical and Production support staff, all of whom can be brought in by the company to provide additional support and enhance the work of DEP on any given project.

About David Edmunds
David trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London, before embarking on a career in Production Management working for The Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, The Royal Shakespeare Company and numerous corporate clients including Sony Europe and Nintendo. Whilst at the Lyric, David worked on a number of award winning productions including Shock Headed Peter (Improbable Theatre Co-Production) and Robert Lepage's Kindertotenlieder. David was responsible for the technical and production management of the 1999 RSC Fringe Festival which took place in London and Stratford upon Avon.
In 2000, David was appointed Production Co-ordinator during the building and opening of the prestigious and award winning Lowry Centre in Salford Quays and where he worked until 2002 before moving to the role of Producer at the critically acclaimed Phoenix Dance Theatre. During his 4 years at Phoenix, David played a key role in assisting Artistic Director Darshan Singh Bhuller fulfil his vision for Phoenix which saw the company return to the UK and international touring circuit. During his time at Phoenix, David set up and managed tours to the US, Europe as well as touring the UK twice a year with regular season's at Sadlers Wells in London. David also commissioned some of the world's leading Choreographers and Designers to work with the company.
In addition to his role at Phoenix, David has also worked on a freelance basis for CIDA (the Creative Industries Development Agency) as part of their mentoring team working with numerous arts based organisations in the Yorkshire Region.
In April 2006, David set up David Edmunds Projects and is currently working as an Independent Producer and Arts Consultant.
His current clients include: New English Contemporary Ballet, Diversity Dance, Momentum Physical Theatre, CIDA and KMA digital arts.
The company is based in Leeds but works regionally, nationally and internationally.
