Arts Council investment engages public in the arts
Arts Council England, Yorkshire is pleased to announce its latest rounds of Grants for the arts awards. These awards create opportunities for people to take part in the arts and enable artists and arts organisations to thrive.
Twenty-nine projects in Yorkshire and the Humber will receive a total of £339,691 in these
latest rounds.
At the same time we are inviting the public to tell us what they value about the arts and
what they expect from public funding, through the arts debate.
Andy Carver, Executive Director of Arts Council England, Yorkshire, said:
‘We support a wide range of projects with Grants for the arts that get thousands of people
involved in arts activities right across the region. Everyone now has the opportunity to
contribute to a broad debate about the role of the arts in their lives with the Arts Council's arts
debate.’
