Delivered by a team of two highly experienced trainers, the programme offers expert business
advice and guidance within a creative context with an emphasis on peer-learning and support.
Divided into two phases – ‘Idea Exploration’ and ‘Business Building’ – the programme focuses on the
setting up of a business as a creative act and allows you to shape your business idea.
- Develop a business vision
- Use financial management systems and planning tools
- Understand legal obligations and intellectual property issues in starting your own
business
- Identify future customers
- Understand business operations
- Create a marketing plan
- Understand issues in building business-related relationships
- Manage / judge risk
- Write a business proposal
- Produce a business presentation
- At the end of the training you could even be awarded up to £5000 to help fund your
start-up!
